The house of Vasyl Tarnowskyj, which originally housed the Chernihiv Historical Museum, was destroyed by bombing during the Russian attack on the city on March 11, 2022 [UQ1] The operator, Serhiey Laevsky, posted photos on Facebook of the destroyed building, which had survived the 1918/19 Revolution and World War II [UQ2].
The building has been used as a children's and youth library since 1980 [UQ1].
